Four Swoony Award Winners I Read in 2021

As you might know, I’m a keen romance reader. Contemporary or historical, angsty or sweeter-than-cupcakes, real-life or romcom… romance is my jam. So it thrilled me when I realised I had read four of the 2021 Swoony Awards winners (excluding the other four winners still waiting in my ebook app)!

I can say without a doubt the following books are outstanding reads.

The Promised Prince by Kortney Keisel – worthy of a dirty laundry pile up! This dystopian romance captivated me from the get-go. Renna and Trev’s heart-rending tangle kept me flipping pages with anxious fingers.

The Charade by Judy Corry – so worth the heart palpitations! This electrifying Young Adult romance delved deep for YA fiction. Carter and Ava almost melted my phone screen one moment and punched me with gut-wrenching sadness the next. An outstanding emotional rollercoaster.

Treasured in Turtle Bay by Jess Mastorakos – let the sink of dishes soak, and dive into a Hawaiian getaway! This contemporary Marine romance fed my romance craving. Roman and Molly’s chemistry sizzled, and their seemingly impossible future together fuelled my need to read!

Falling for Your Fake Fiancé by Emma St Clair – be prepared to snort-laugh! This refreshing contemporary romantic comedy was addictive and fun. Thayden and Delilah’s volatile relationship spiced up the quirky and unexpected storyline. And the “taboo” conversations between characters felt like chats I had with friends! Relatable, engaging and oh-so-swoony.

Go on, take a chance and enjoy something new to read in 2022.

Until next time,
