I’m secretly posting this Christmas-related blog as I’m breaking our “house rules”. If Mr Wonderful had his way, I wouldn’t press Publish until November 29th! But waiting six weeks to share about these new Christmas releases seems too long a wait. If I can give you extra time to plan your Christmas reading, even better!
Mistletoe Season released last week and contains three sweet Christmas novellas by Christian authors Kathleen Fuller (Return to Mistletoe), Pepper Basham (A Mistletoe Prince) and Sheila Roberts (Say No to Mistletoe). I’m an avid Pepper Basham fan (if you’ve not read any of her romances, start here!), so I rejoiced over a new Skymar Series novella!
A Mistletoe Prince was not only a fabulous read but worth grabbing a copy of Mistletoe Season just for Pepper Basham’s story! The main characters, Prince Arran and Charlotte, were introduced in Loyally, Luke, and I was whisked away with their romance.
Did I mention how much I love Pepper Basham and her swoony romances?
Return to Mistletoe follows Emmy, a single mum in her 40s, and her childhood crush, Kieran, freshly returned from Ireland after spending 25 years abroad. The romance is sweet and filled with small town warmth.
Say No to Mistletoe is a fun read about single romance writer, Hailey, and her string of love disasters, which all started with a mistletoe kiss. This story gave off Hallmarky vibes with dialled up banter and witticisms.
Mandi Blake’s latest Christmas romance, Healing the Cowboy, releases next week! This sweet faith-filled best-friends-to-more romance between Clint and Nora is set in the multi-author Christmas in Redemption Ridge series.
Many favourite Christmas moments—decorating the tree, spending time with family, and a mistletoe kiss—are sprinkled throughout the trials and challenges Clint and Nora face. In true Mandi Blake style, her characters have baggage to deal with, but with God’s love and each other’s help, they journey through the tough times together.
Although not a brand new Christmas romance, my summery Christmas novella released in August and would complement these wintertime romances.
A Sun-Drenched Christmas was a joy to write and, I hope, enjoyable for you to read. Although Anna appears in The Tellarine Series, her romance with Tennyson is lighter than my “heavier” women’s fiction. It’s such fun. And awkward.
Very, very awkward.
Until next time,
